Sandia Peak Ski Area has received 7 inches of snow in the past week, bringing great mountain conditions for skiers and snowboarders! Our crew has been hard at work making snow to complement the recent snowfall, ensuring a fantastic experience on the slopes. Lift 4 is spinning daily, offering ideal beginner terrain for first-timers to build confidence and enjoy their first turns. Experienced riders will enjoy the enhanced base, perfect for skill-building. Don’t miss out—enjoy the slopes today!

 

​Please note that Lift 3 will not be open due to the limited snow on the upper mountain. We encourage caution while enjoying the slopes as early season and unmarked obstacles may exist.

​

Notice there is no access to the ski area via the Sandia Peak Tram.
