Sandia Peak Ski Area Season Pass Reviews: Why Our Crew Loves the Slopes

There is nothing quite like that first click into your bindings on a crisp winter morning, breathing in the cold air, and deciding whether you are going to spend the day hunting for hidden snow stashes or tearing up the groomers. We live for those perfect mountain days, and on our slopes, we are all about turning everyday laps into legendary memories.

Being a passholder at Sandia Peak is all about unlocking easy mountain access, skipping the ticket lines, and maximizing your laps close to home. We make it simple to get out on the snow with our incredibly affordable lineup, featuring season pass options tailored to fit any schedule or budget.  But hey, you don't just have to take our word for it. Our community of skiers and riders is dropping the real truth on why our mountain’s season pass is the ultimate winter deal!

"Would recommend - I've convinced my brother to buy a season pass as well."

Skiing and riding are always better when shared with your crew. The joy of winter is meant to be spread around, which is why eligible season pass products come loaded with six discounted lift tickets at 50% off the online rate to give away to your favorite riding partners. These ticket discounts are valid every day during the winter season with no blackout dates, making it easier than ever to bring your brother, your best friend, or your favorite crew along for epic mountain days.

"The weekday season pass was a huge family value!"

For families looking to maximize their time on the snow with incredible flexibility, our mid-week options are a massive win. Choosing a weekday pass helps your crew beat the weekend crowds, avoid heavy traffic, and spend your time stacked up on the slopes instead of sitting in lift lines. With prices starting at a highly accessible $125, it offers an unmissable deal for anyone with Monday-Friday flexibility.

Rider Note: Winter holiday blackout dates apply to weekday products, so you'll want to check the website for full details before planning your trip.

"I love the affordability and all the benefits of the season pass."

We believe the on-mountain fun shouldn't stop when you click out of your gear, which is why our pass products come loaded with popular benefits to premium-charge your entire day at the resort. Passholders save instantly with a 10% discount on food and beverage purchases at any U.S. Power Pass resort restaurant location to keep you fueled between laps. Depending on your specific pass tier, you can also unlock a 10% discount on rental packages, lesson products, and full-price retail gear and apparel.

"The Power Kids pass. That's a great move."

We are deeply committed to fostering the next generation of mountain adventurers, removing barriers so that the youngest riders can fall in love with the winter wind. The Power Kids pass ensures that kids ages 12 and younger at the time of purchase receive FREE ski and mountain bike access all season long. There is absolutely no parent pass purchase required, no hidden fees, and zero blackout dates: just direct-to-lift freedom for the kids.

"Our family wouldn't be skiing without your prices."

Keeping winter sports within reach for families of all sizes is at the very core of our brand philosophy. To support everyone from teenagers to young adults finding their footing on the slopes, we offer specialized age-bracket discounts for guests ages 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, and 30-36. To make next season even more manageable, you can pair these prices with our 0% interest payment plans, dividing your total equally into monthly installments through February so you can focus entirely on getting hyped for winter.

No matter which tier you choose, our passes are designed to get you closer to the winter moments that bring us together. Visit our season pass page today to explore all of your options, select your ideal level of access, and prepare to join us on the snow!
