  • 3 min read

Looking for the best way to experience Sandia Peak and beyond? We have updated our passholder perks to make your time on the mountain even better. We are also proud to share that we have held our season pass pricing steady, with no price increase since 2023. Whether you are a dedicated local, a midweek skier, or part of a growing family of young riders, there is a pass designed just for you.

Here is your digestible guide to the 2026/27 Power Pass lineup and the benefits that come with them.

Pass Break Down

The Power Pass Core: The Local Explorer’s Dream

If you want the ultimate New Mexico winter adventure, the Power Pass Core is built for those who want to explore every corner of the Land of Enchantment.

  • Unlimited Access: Ski and ride all season long at Sandia Peak, Sipapu, and Pajarito.

  • The Bonus Laps: You also get 4 total restricted days to use at premier destinations like Purgatory Resort, Arizona Snowbowl, or Brian Head.

  • The Perks: Includes six tickets at 50% off the online rate to share with your crew.

Sandia Weekday Pass: Avoid the Crowds

If you have a flexible schedule and prefer a quieter mountain, the Sandia Weekday Pass is the best value for Albuquerque locals who want wide-open groomers and shorter lift lines.

  • Customizable: Choose 1–5 weekdays to ski throughout the entire season.

  • Flexibility: This pass is eligible for our 11-month payment plan, making it easy to fit into your monthly budget.

We are proud to support those who serve. Our Active Duty Military Pass offers a discounted rate for full-time, active-duty members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

  • Access: Enjoy restricted access to your favorite mountains at a price that honors your service.

  • Note: Proof of active-duty status is required at the time of purchase.

Kids Ski FREE (No Gimmicks!)

At Sandia Peak, kids ages 12 and under ski and ride for FREE. The Power Kids Pass is the most popular pass in New Mexico because it’s truly "no strings attached."

  • Zero Cost: No parent purchase is required.

  • Unlimited Access: Valid at Sandia Peak and every other Power Pass resort with no blackout dates.

  • Summer Fun: Includes unlimited mountain bike uplifts at every Power Pass bike park during the summer season.

Passholder Perks You’ll Love

Your pass is more than just a lift ticket; it’s a membership to exclusive savings on the mountain.

  • 50% Off Buddy Tickets: All Power Pass products (except Power Kids) come with six discounted tickets to share with friends and family.

  • On-Mountain Discounts: Save 10% on food and beverage (excluding alcohol) at any Power Pass resort restaurant.

  • Retail and Lessons: Enjoy 10% off full-price gear at resort retail shops and 10% off group ski or snowboard lessons.

  • Summer Riding in Chile: Dreaming of an endless winter? Power Pass Select and Senior Pass holders receive 10 interconnected days at Valle Nevado and La Parva in Chile during the 2026 winter season (our summer!). Power Kids and Super Seniors (75+) get unlimited access to these Chilean resorts!

Flexible Payment Options

We believe the mountain should be accessible to everyone. That is why we offer an interest-free payment plan for our season passes. Because we haven't raised prices since 2023, this allows you to lock in a great rate and spread the cost of your pass out over time. It is the easiest way to ensure you are ready to go as soon as the snow falls next season.

Thanks for the breakdown on the 2026/27 passes. The Power Kids deal is amazing, and holding prices steady since 2023 is rare these days. I actually checked PissedConsumer before buying last season, and the positive feedback convinced me to go for it—no regrets, the buddy tickets alone made it worthwhile.
